This is a collaborative quilt The needle turned chicken squares were done by friend’s mom, Hazel, when she was in her 70’s. My friend had to sell her parents home and relocate her 95 year old parents to a senior condo. These squares were found and I offered to make them into a quilt. Squares made by Hazel, quilt built by me, quilted by Jackie Pavlicek of Santa Rosa and finally binding done by me. It was mailed back to Kentucky to be Hazel’s Christmas gift. It was such a joy to make this project come full circle! |
