Jan Andrews was selected to receive our guild’s HONORARY LIFE MEMBER award. Not only is Jan our current Vice President, Newsletter Editor, and Membership Directory creator, but she has also served on the Hospitality Committee and headed up the Sew-A-Row project. Jan very generously donated a laptop computer for use in the library, has been printing thousands of opportunity quilt tickets, frequently donates new books and magazines for our library, items for the silent auction table, contributes to the guild’s fund raisers, plus volunteers for many work parties, much more. Her smiles, humor, and kind words always brighten those around her. At our guild’s 33^rd birthday party (the Founders’ Day celebration), Jan was presented with a certificate of appreciation created by Linda Hooper, and is exempt from paying dues for the rest of her hopefully very long life. We thank her for all that she does to make our guild a more wonderful place.
