John from Cherkasy and Marguerite Li
John is visiting from Cherkasy Ukraine to represent the Cherkasy Women's Center. Pictured on the table are these special women's beautiful creations -- traditional hand made folk toys, bead works, greeting cards, and sewn items. Particularly impressive was the exhibition by Alla Krokhmal -- an entire circle of traditional Ukrainian dolls that she made out of materials donated by the Santa Rosa Quilt Guild. Cherkasy is Santa Rosa's sister city. |
